JOPLIN TER DOORN
"Janis" is a 2009 Belgian Warmblood mare. She came to us in 2022 after an injury required her retirement from sport. Janis has competed up to 1.35. She is quite tall, measuring in at about 1.75m, but still refined. Her personality is very sweet and kind, with an amateur-friendly disposition.
She had three offspring in 2014 and 2015. The oldest, Olympia Ter Doorn is competing in the 1.35m, while the 2015 Perth Ter Doorn and Portland Ter Doorn have begun into the 1.10/1.15.

Nabab de Reve, Janis's sire is world renowned as a top grand prix horse and sire. He was the winner at the 2002 World Equestrian Games with rider Philippe Le Jeune. He has produced several of the most famous stallions in the world, including Glasgow Van Het Merelsnest, Vigo d’Arsouilles, Inshallah de Muze, Poker de Mariposa TN, and others.

Janis is from the great damline Merrielijn 263, fokfamilie 103. Her dam Belle (Toulon x Capital) competed to 1.50m and produced a 1.55m mare, a 1.45m gelding, and a 1.30m mare. Janis's granddam Quadra (Capital x Fleuri du Manoir) produced horses who competed to 1.35m and 1.45m.
