"Gansa" is a 2019 Irish bred Warmblood. She was acquired in summer 2022 to join our growing broodmare band.

Her sire, Chacco Blue, requires no introduction. Chacco Blue topped the WBFSH Sire Ranking in 2017, 2019, 2019, 2020 and 2021. He competed in the 2008 Olympic games, and has sired no less than 180 horses who have competed to 1.60m+.

Gansa is from the famous Dutch "Landra" damline: Merrielijn 51, fokfamilie 212. Her dam Ellandra (Coconut Grove XX x Jus de Pomme) has oldest offspring beginning to jump 1.10/1.15. Coconut Grove was a top thoroughbred stallion who competed to 1.60, and is the only thoroughbred to have achieved 100% positive approval status with 9 European registries. Gansa's granddam Nellandra (Jus de Pomme x Wellington) produced a licensed 1.60 stallion Baltic VDL and several other top horses including ones who competed to 1.60m, 1.50m, and 1.45m.

She is just started undersaddle. We are hoping for a Glasgow van het Merelsnest foal for 2023.
